Four bedrooms with queen size beds, plus an additional 2 bunkbeds offer ample space for a large family getaway. The upstairs bathroom has a spa-like quality with a double vanity made from the reclaimed wood, clawfoot soaking tub and a dreamy tiled shower with opposing double shower heads. This large shower includes bench seating for six people to enjoy an invigorating steam sauna with lake views. The fully stocked kitchen and outdoor gas BBQ are ideal for cooking a special meal to share with friends and family. The 8-person vintage wood dining table has wheels, so it can easily slide onto the outdoor deck for a sunset dinner lakeside. Reclaimed wood from the original cabin and retro-inspired artwork add character to this classic family cabin.

 

The cabin sits on 0.69 acres with 69 feet of lakefront direct beach access. There is a private 60 foot dock waiting for you to pull up your own boat or jet skis. Enjoy a white sandy beach, with firepit and stocked wood pile. Don’t forget to bring your s'mores fixings!

The cabin sits just off a quiet private road. Parking is available for up to 3-4 vehicles. A detached garage is for owner’s use. The garage is separate and has a 2BR apartment on second floor which is often occupied. The inhabitants have shared access to dock and beach, while allowing you appropriate privacy. This 2 BR unit can be made available to accommodate a larger group.

MAIN LEVEL

A fully stocked kitchen and stainless outdoor gas BBQ are ideal for those that want to cook that special meal. The kitchen opens to the living room which features a comfortable leather sofa, vintage chairs and a 55 inch HD Smart TV/DVD Player and expansive DVD movie collection. The previous owner Esther’s vintage trinkets can be found in special hidden nooks about the cabin. The Dining Room also opens to the kitchen, separated by a bar with stools so guests can enjoy the chefs as meals are prepared. Huge windows overlook pristine Kalispell Bay. The dining room table can easily roll onto the outdoor deck to enjoy meals lakeside. Retro-inspired artwork keeps the atmosphere fun and light. The main level has one bedroom with Queen  bed and built-in Twin XL bunkbed with peek-a-boo lake views. All beds feature comfortable 8-inch memory foam mattresses. The adjacent bathroom includes a walk-in slate tile shower, large vanity and mirror made from reclaimed wood from the former cabin rafters. Hidden stairs just off the living room lead to the 3 bedrooms and spa-like bathroom on the upper level.

 

UPPER LEVEL

The walk-in Laundry Room is centrally located at the top of the stairs, equipped with top-loading washer and dryer. The Master Bedroom has a Queen bed and large windows overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with 2-sided lake view. The third bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin XL bunkbed, with windows facing the forest and lake views to the side. The upstairs bathroom has a spa-like quality with its long reclaimed-wood vanity with double sink, white-washed pine walls, a clawfoot soaking tub and a dreamy tiled shower with opposing double shower heads, benched seating for six people to enjoy an invigorating steam sauna with lake views.

  • Bear-safe “job box”, aka garbage can. There is no garbage pick up - trash needs to be brought to the dump at Dickensheet Rd. Recycling bins are available at the dump for aluminum cans and cardboard boxes.

  • Internet and WIFI - very reliable, however, can be spotty during inclement weather or if too many users at Priest Lake on at same time, such as during holidays

PETS

 

Dog-friendly with advance notice, additional security deposit and fee. Please be considerate for keeping your dogs under close control, realizing there are other dogs in the near vicinity, and pick up after your pet, especially if they wander onto neighbor’s yard or road.

ACTIVITIES

  • Relax and rejuvenate at the cabin and private beach

  • Puzzles, card and board games

  • Hike endless well-groomed trails through the forest, along the lakeshore or up hiking trails to sweeping views.

  • Enjoy a gourmet meal or lakefront beverage at Hill's Resort, Cavanaugh’s Restaurant or Elkin’s Resort, all within close distance of the cabin. Seasonal festivals have a happy community feel and music fills the air which is sure to get your hips swinging!

  • Campfire on the beach (sorry, NO FIREWORKS allowed)

RENT OR BRING

  • Rent or bring a ski boat and waterski, wakeboard or wakesurf.

  • Rent or bring jet skis for a more personal and exhilarating tour of the lake’s hidden areas.

  • Rent tubes to attach to the back of your watercraft and try your battling skills or enjoy a slow, scenic, gentle ride.

  • Rent an ATV and adventure up Sundance Mountain or discover a hidden huckleberry patch. Hunt Lake affords a fun day excursion, or try your skills at the rock water-slide near Lion’s Head when the weather is warm.

  • Rent or bring a mountain bike to ride the single-track Muskrat Trail or one of many well-maintained mountain roads and catch a glimpse of wildlife in their natural surroundings.

  • Rent or bring a Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP), kayak or canoe and have a picnic on Kalispell Island, a local favorite camping and hiking spot.

  • Hike, paddle or take a boat ride through the wake-free Thoroughfare at the North end of the lake and experience the raw natural beauty of the Upper Lake. A swim in the refreshing pristine waters is a treat you will remember for a lifetime.
