Propane for outdoor BBQ
BBQ & Stovetop
Use a stick lighter for ignition. Backup propane is available on the back porch. Use the vent when cooking on the stovetop to prevent smoke alarms from activating. CAUTION: The broiler setting is unsafe. Do not use. A fire extinguisher is located under the bar and near the outdoor BBQ. There is a 3-burner cooktop with grill adjacent to the BBQ, ideal for outdoor cooking.
Linens & Towels
Bath towels and limited beach towels are provided. Please avoid leaving them on grass overnight to keep it green.
Steam Shower & Bath
The steam shower is pre-set for 30 minutes at maximum temperature. Press the button outside or inside the shower to start. Enjoy the provided soaking salts and bath bombs. Please be cautious to prevent water from leaking into the entrance area.
Dock
The dock is shared between the Main Cabin and Treehouse. Aside from the owner's boat (parked on the boat lift), there is room for two additional boats (one on each side).
Beach & Campfire
The beach and campfire are shared between the Main Cabin and Treehouse. If using the beach umbrella, please close it at night or if it is windy. Firewood is stacked behind the Main Cabin (street side). IMPORTANT: Extinguish fires completely with lake water using the metal bucket near the fire pit.
Puzzles & Games
Located in the storage box to the right as you enter the Main Cabin.
CHECKOUT & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Trash
All trash during your stay can be securely stored in the tall wheeled trash can with lid, located on the deck near the bear at the top of the stairs (bagged garbage only). Excess garbage can be stored in the camo-painted job box near the boat shed to deter wildlife. Our on-site property manager, Lawrence, will take garbage to Dickensheet Refuse Center around midweek.
Linens & Towels
Leave used linens in the laundry room upstairs so we know which ones to refresh.
Cleaning Supplies
Cleaning supplies and vacuum are in the downstairs closet if needed.
Pets
We provide a pooper scooper in the fenced dog area for your convenience. Please pick up after your pets to keep the area clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Flowers
Please water potted plants on the deck daily with 1 gallon of water using the adjacent hose. Use the bucket provided on the dock to easily water the potted plant at the end of the dock using lake water.
